Free bike marking with Nottinghamshire Police. 

Whether you riding to campus everyday or just occasionally, NTU has a range of free events in this October to keep your bike secure , safe, and in top condition. 

This gives you a great opportunity to get your bike marked and registered  with the national BikeRegister database. 

Why does this matter ? 

The research  shows that cyclists are more likely to have their bike stolen if it isn't BikeRegister marked. The Marking process includes a deterrent warning sticker - simple put powerful. These stickers not only discourage theft but also make it easier for police to identify and return stolen bikes to their rightful owners. 

The bike marking event taking place on Tuesday 21 October 11 am - 1 pm: Clifton Campus ( outside Pavilion)
